I assume that personnel sent to Berchtesdagen for short assignment were put up in this hotel, villa? Comments by Geoff Walden (Third Reich in Ruins): This is just a guess, but this might be the former house of Gen. Jodl that was located adjacent to the AFRC HQs building (#15 in your photos). The original building was torn down a few years ago but it did resemble this one. You can see the Watzmann mountain from that house, but this is still just a guess on my part.
