Fisher, stationed at Dachau 1947-48) In the immediate post-war years, elements of the 1st Inf Div were frequently moved to new stations as the division assumed greater geographical responsibilities caused by the continued reductions of EUCOM's troop strength. In early 1947, HHB 1st Div Arty was located at Fulda. Later in the year it moved to Camp Dachau near Munich.
