Fürth Medical Depot, 1940s (Source: Medical Supply in World War II, US Army ) The Fürth Medical Depot was operated by the 33rd Medical Depot Company. At the end of WWII, the US Army occupied the E-shaped building that had previously served as a Wehrmacht warehouse complex and established the medical depot that served the entire US Zone of Occupation.
