I served in the the 1/94th FA as a combat medic between 1984-1986. Also, I worked at the 690th Medical Company located on Ft. Benning Georgia, in 1986 until my regular ETS.

Charley Battery was actually a satellite unit located in Erlangen while our HQ and other 8" Howitzer gun batteries were located at William O Darby Kaserne in Führt, Germany. The name of the barracks I lived in was Ferris Barracks.

I do remember the barracks that I lived in, were actually located just outside of the gate of the primary military installation in Erlangen, as well as the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket Systems) and other supporting vehicles and equipment.

I have located the CO of the MLRS unit on Linkedin, but I have not been able to reach him. His name is Marc Miller. I remember him being a captain at the time. Our 1st Sergeant at that time was a US Army Ranger.

I was also looking for the name of the Sergeant Major in charge of the 690th medical company located on Ft. Benning Georgia, in 1986.

Any help you could provide me would be terrific.

Can anyone provide details on where "C" Battery was located and what buildings on Ferris Barracks were used by the battery (headquarters, billets, mess hall, and motor pool)?
