Coming back up further was the mess hall.There was a road next to it and the barracks beside that road was where I spent many a day. To the front of those buildings was our motor pool and across that main road was a vineyard. Going back on that road toward Orleans was a small bar where we picked up our liquid refreshment for the New Years celebrations.
