Annie" crosses over the Rhine River at Bridge Site Gernsheim. The atomic
gun crossed over
the Rhine River frequently during field exercises, much to the chagrin of
would-be spies who, for obvious reasons, could
not utilize the bridge and would thus "lose the scent."
