The small blue canopy is the common reference point in the two photos. The stacked wood was for a German facility maintenance project. The grey-white-and-red object in the foreground is a fire hydrant. |

Fort Sill Strasse on the air base (abbreviated STR on the street sign) ran past Det HQ. The insignia of Flugkörpergeschwader 2 (2nd Surface-to-Surface Missile Wing), the Pershing unit supported by the 85th, is barely visible behind the tree on the right. |
