| We had an IG inspection on and off post and as you know, the barracks had to be spit polished for the day and the off post ( athletic field ) across from the Verdun Signal Depot was set up for the tents. |

| Armistice Day, Nov 11, 1957 - Parade at Maginot Caserne in Verdun. This was an annual event with all the Verdun Units marching in the parade. The town people use to come and participate in the festivities. |
